Play Some Golf while Staying on the Gulf

St. Pete Beach is home to some of the very best golf courses in all of Florida. Add to that what many call perfect year-round weather and you’ve found your place to indulge in your favorite pastime. Of course, our concierge can assist you with tee times, transportation and directions.

The Course at Feather Sound

Feather Sound Country Club was designed by Joe Lee and updated by Bob Cupp. The par-72 course at Feather Sound plays like one of the longest 6,900-yard courses you’ve ever played. By allowing the average player to swing away off the tee and offering plenty of options to every player, it’s a course that can challenge and be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. Most of the difficulty to be found at Feather Sound is around the Pinehurst-style elevated greens, the signature feature of our course. The challenge in playing well here is first in hitting these small, subtly contoured greens, and how you manage your short game once you’re around those greens as well. And with our new, Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens, we are able to maintain very good pace on the greens, but at the same time they’re quite receptive. Located in Clearwater, approximately 25 minutes away.

Bardmore Golf & Tennis Club

Broad, generous fairways that invite you to hit away; glistening water features that add some sparkle to your round; and, of course, abundant sunshine. You'll find our overall conditions are consistently excellent. We have Tif-Eagle greens that rival tour status. Our new state-of-the-art practice facility boasts a 15,000 square foot putting surface on its new Tif-Eagle practice green. Hone your skills on the putting and chipping green, or perfect your pitch shots on another special green featuring practice bunkers. You will find mounded areas and turf mowed at all the heights you will find on the golf course, from closely mown to deep rough, so that you can practice every possible shot you have in your golfing repertoire and get set to take on our great course. Located in Largo, approximately 25 minutes away.

River Strand Golf & Country Club

River Strand, a 27-hole championship golf course designed by Arthur Hills, provides a challenge to the low handicapper, yet the high handicapper will enjoy it, too. All the while, you’re playing in a gorgeous, natural setting with palm trees, live oaks that Mr. Hills designed around, and a nice mix of river holes. The golf course fits harmoniously with the environment, with holes intertwined by tributaries and estuaries. The Manatee River and its tidal water areas are incorporated into several of the holes, making the course a remarkable and memorable experience. In Bradenton, approximately 35 minutes away.

Legacy Golf Club

Legacy is an upscale, 18-hole championship daily fee course, different from anything found in the region. Offering a level of service and conditions found at world-class private facilities, this award-winning Arnold Palmer signature designed course has quickly earned its reputation as one of the premier courses in Southwest Florida. The course features elevated multiple tees, and virtually every hole is framed with sand and water. What makes this course unique is the 360-foot wide fairways on all corridors, making the look very dramatic and visually challenging, while still approachable to all players. Located in Bradenton, approximately 35 minutes away.
